WHY THESE CARDS EXIST

Hoʻoponopono is often spoken about, used, repeated, simplified, and understood through only a narrow part of its depth.

These cards were created to reveal something wider.

Something deeper.

To bring forward the understanding that Ho‘oponopono reaches further than many people realise.

That it touches awareness, responsibility, belonging, purpose, understanding of self, and the way we live and move through life.

They were also created because they needed to exist.

Because there was a desire to bring forward something distinctly Hawaiian — something that could carry the depth, language, understanding, and wisdom of Ho‘oponopono into daily engagement in another form.

Included with the deck is a 52-page companion booklet created to support deeper entry into the understanding and practice carried within Hoʻoponopono Hoʻōla Wisdom.

Inside are opening and closing prayers that frame entry into the booklet itself, alongside oli to begin and oli to close — chants created to support the opening and closing of the card experience before and after drawing.

The booklet also includes the Bowl of Light, guidance around purpose, preparation, approach, day and night practice, Hawaiian pronunciation, and foundational themes connected to Ho‘oponopono and the work itself.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Hoʻoponopono Hoʻōla Wisdom was created
by Kumu Pa‘a Kawika Foster.

Born on O‘ahu, Wai‘anae, and trained on the island of Molokai in the district of Halawa, the place from which his lineage comes, his work carries the teachings of Ho‘oponopono, Hawaiian spirituality, healing, and ancestral understanding through Mana O Kahiko.

A traditional Hawaiian teacher and practitioner carrying 51 generations of lineage, he has shared this work internationally for more than a decade through workshops, retreats, trainings, and ongoing teaching.

These cards emerge from that continuing work.
